For its own brands Rootzz of Nature and Jacky F., Elan – Foodsolutions wants to become the most natural meat substitute on the market. The Rootzz of Nature products are based on the jackfruit fruit. This fruit grows in large quantities in Sri Lanka on protected trees. The natural yield is many times greater than domestic consumption and therefore a lot of pulp is lost. By processing jackfruit into meat substitute products in the region, Elan – Foodsolutions contributes to reducing waste and creating employment. Plant-based meat substitutes also contribute to reduced CO2 emissions.

By actively developing and trading new products with permanent partners for production and logistics, Elan – Foodsolutions wants to strengthen and expand its position, particularly in the Food Service channels, but also in Business to Business and to a limited extent in Retail. We collaborate with a professional partner for the development of products. As an organization, Elan – Foodsolutions wants to further professionalize its business operations and quality level. Compliance with legislation, product requirements and paying attention to food safety are conditions. This is achieved, among other things, by obtaining a GFSI certificate. Elan – Foodsolutions wants to grow in the coming years with a focus on the Netherlands and Germany.
